weather on other planets

This is some research I did for the planets of our solar system so I could show how other plants have very different weather compared to the world we live in, Earth.

I was given the idea to look at this artist as they do colourful pieces and this one is based in space, they make comics and i like the art style. I will possibly do a black and white piece with a small amount of colour to challenge myself in my art

primary research

this is a photo I found online by Darren Bartley of a creepy tooth fairy that he designed and I think this would relate t the distopian side of things.

these are images I've either found online or ones I've taken myself. The reason behind why I've chosen these is because to me they seem like dark or scary things. these speak to me as I know I can make a piece that is a dark fantasy using inspiration from these.

The two bottom photos are from a thin avatar and I believe it is dystopian and the mountain banshee relates to weather as the use the wind to glide.

doing this sort of research is very important to me as it allows me to visually see these fabulous creatures in their own habitat and after doing research i can understand how each animal is designed to stay safe and prey upon their next meal without being seen.

This is some images i have found on google about how tattooist present their work in an exhibition. some dhow the set up, and some show work on fake limbs, and others will use photos and enlarge them to a human scale and print it onto huge paper.

Ryan Ashley

Ryan Ashley is a 35 year old tattooist who is from Kingston, Pennsylvania. she specialises in black and grey tattoo work and was formally found on the tv show ink master which she won on season 8 in 2016. she has since opened her own tattoo parlour and is still creating amazing art work, she specialised in bead work, lace, and jewels.

Bobby Cupparo

Bobby Cupparo is a tattoo artist currently working at love machine tattoo who focuses his work through his signature abstract colour-realist style.

Danny Lepore

Danny is a renowned tattoo artist, he his well known for his splendid body artwork and is an expert in creating horror, portrait, realism, black and grey art work. he works in the Seance tattoo parlour.

Kelly Doty

Kelly Doty is well known for her creepy yet cute characters. each new character design has its own story and she spends her time working and tattooing in her shop Helhiem Gallery in massachusetts

Pete Zebly

Pete Zebly started tattooing in 1998 and focuses on water colour and fine art tattoos. he works in the central tattoo studio in USA Pennsylvania.

Joseph Heafs

joseph haefs lives in las Vegas where he co owns reverent tattoo with his wife.

he focuses his work on black, graphic, line work, blackwork and author style. he does huge pieces covering a lot of skin.

doing research on all of these amazing tattoo artists its allowed me to understand everyone is different and all tattooists can create amazing works that others might not. every tattoo artist is different in their own way and it opened my eyes to see that I am my own artist and the art I enjoy and am passionate about making is very indipendant.

Avatar weather

In tropical parts of Pandora and in jungles I imagine that the air is extremely muggy and hot, way hotter and humid than the Amazon. Though that is just a guess but I based it off how big Home Tree is and how big everything is on the planet in general. In a way it can be compared with the early ages of Earth when insects and animals in general were huge!

for this project I decided to base my work on the film avatar, if more time was given i would have used my own designs that i did and would of created my own fantasy planet with a story and could create a final piece based on that. i will definitely do this next year.
